I am a military child who was born at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. I have had the privilege of living in Pennsylvania, Japan, Hawaii, and Eastern North Carolina. Currently, I am a Communication major with a concentration in Broadcasting and a minor in Mathematics at Western Carolina University. I work three days a week at Waynesville Main Street Dinner as a food runner. When I’m not at school or work, you can likely find me at the WCU Community Garden, where I am a proud lot owner of Plot 23 and a consistent volunteer. Additionally, I volunteer twice a week at Jackson County’s Habitat for Humanity.
Being community-oriented, I aspire to make my presence well-known in the financial world. I plan to become a life insurance agent before completing my education. My degree will come into play in shaping my plans after my first retirement. I aim to live a long and healthy life, allowing me to bring personal experiences into a middle school math classroom and the sports that I coach. I also aspire to produce a successful podcast series.

Upon completing my Associate’s degree at Louisburg College within an accelerated timeframe of 1.5 years, I transitioned to WCU with the objective of enriching my academic scholastics and acquiring practical insights in my field of study. This move not only reaffirmed my self-determination but also demonstrated my capacity to pursue ambitious goals. I assumed a leadership role by reactivating an organization and assuming the presidency of the Pi Mu chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated.
